Health & Safety: At my school safety is not a big issue because there have very rarely been threats, so saying bad or great would not be useful because there are no issues that I can really rate. Also I have never gone to the nurse but I have heard that she can not give you anything but a place to lie down or a phone to call your parents. Since I haven't experienced it I cannot judge it either.

Overall Experience: I selected great because I have an amazing group of friends and I feel like we all help each other and are a great support system for one another. I see friend groups around the school that look similar to mine, all of which want to achieve greatness and help the ones around them do the same. I do not think you could find such a great group of people at other schools

Food: I bring my own lunch to school so all I can really rate is what they provide in the snack line. They used to have great things like all types of chips, drinks, candies, and whatever you could think of they had it. But then they had to switch over to healthier options because of some new rule and now no one, including myself, ever goes to the snack line anymore. There is nothing good or apetizing over there. Not because there are only health options but because there are no good healthy options. The snack line used to be full at all times with at least 30 people always in it, but now no one ever goes in it or few go in desperation of some source of food.

Administration & Policies: Our school has had a lot of principal changes over the course of my four years, probably 5 different principles so far, so we need time to rebuild policies. As of right now rules, specifically not leaving campus or skipping class, are not being enforced well. It used to be like 3 warnings and then detention. Now people skate around with over 20 absences or tardies and all they get is a note sent home that they need to attend class more often. And some do not even recieve that note so their behavior goes unnoticed. I think after a few years with consistently having a principal then the school will be able to get back to enforcing its own rules.

Sports & Fitness: Sometimes students show a lot of school spirit but it will only be for certain sports. For example, a football game against a rival or the homecoming game always draws a huge crowd and the spirit during the school day is out of the roof. But for basically every other sport people could care less about their game or what the theme for their spirit day is. Football is probably given the most important, although basketball did get a little more of a crowd this year. But if it is not football then people seem not to care. Even if the football team lost every game more people would watch it than go to see the baseball or basketball team win every game. The fact that students can get in for free now as long as they have their student ID has pleased many, including myself, and I think has encouraged more people to go to any sporting event.
