Overall Experience: I loved the amount of class options that were provided. It allowed me to explore all sorts of topics and interests. I got to take an amazing Jewelry class during my school years there. The teacher was amazing and the experience made me want to give even more effort in school. I also got to take a psychology class. That allowed me to know more about myself and what I wanted to do as a profession later on.

Teachers: The teachers overall are truly invested in the students. They use technology in the class room making it easier to learn. The technology they use also makes it easier to keep track of grads and assignments that are due. This helps keep grades up. Some of the best teachers I've had were at Pioneer. They truly try their best to expand the knowledge of their students.

Health & Safety: Our area is already very safe by default and that is reflected in our safety policies. We do have lock-down drills and other similar precautions, though. Teachers have recently been trained in a few additional safety procedures should there be an emergency, so relative to our circumstances, the school feels very safe and is improving nonetheless.

Extracurriculars: I love my orchestra, it really is what I have come to appreciate the most in my school. The community, the memories, everything. I have found a niche within it. And from what I have seen ad heard from all the other clubs, that's pretty much the consensus. A lot of them are hard to get into, like the symphony orchestra/band and varsity sports, but there are plenty of things that a lot of students get involved in that reflect their talents are there interests. It's a big school, and if these things were handled carelessly, then it would be a pretty monotonous experience. However, the embracing of our diversity is reflected within our outstanding activities.

Overall Experience: The school I attend is a very large school, and as such, it really is hard to talk about the entire student body. While I would say that parental involvement is at an average level overall, once you begin to focus in on clubs and other organisations, then the parental involvement is phenomenal. In my orchestra, the parent organisation is incredible at raising money and at being involved. In my volunteer club, a lot of parents come in and help with the work alongside there kids. However, this is not really representative of the whole school since not all kids are in clubs.
