There are many extracurricular opportunities at PGHS! we have many clubs which include HOSA, FFA, FCCLA, FBLA, latinos in action, gay-straight alliance, sandwich club, math club, and many, many more! Every student who joins a club is very committed and loves what they do and the various activities they put on. The clubs listed above are some of the most popular clubs at PGHS. All the clubs are fun but that opinion varies depending on the student and what their interests are. The administration is very involved with the various clubs. Every morning in the announcements, the clubs who have meetings are announced along with the activities they may be putting on at the time as well as the things they have accomplished. Most of PGHS's after-school activities are the clubs along with school dances and fundraisers. Many students are involved and are very engaged in whatever club they are involved in.

I have been to multiple schools throughout my life all over the country and I have honestly never been to one better than Pleasant Grove High School in PG Utah. The teachers are what truly make up the experience, and without them, my high school experience would be miserable. I can walk up to any teacher any time i need to and they will put aside whatever they were doing- I've had that experience multiple times- and help me out. They aren't all great though... Some seem to just hate going to work every morning and seem to run to their cars after the bell rings but all the students have them figured out and typically avoid them at all costs!

My overall experience with PGHS has been amazing! I couldn't ask for a better feeling everytime i walk into my school. My favorite experiences include but are not limited to my relationship with my teachers, how caring and helpful they are, the awesome dances and activities the school and clubs put on, and the sport games and excitement and enthusiasm for them and how fun they are. PGHS is so unique due to the amazing teachers and administration! how much dedication and extra effort they put into their jobs for their studnets is beyond amazing. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose PGHS because it's such an incredible school and welcomed feeling everyday I walk in.
