Overall Experience: Sure, there's a few down sides, but no school is perfect. I will forever be proud to be a Plum Mustang no matter what happens. This year has been chaotic with different unfortunate events in our district, but the students stick together. My greatest memories will always contain Friday night games, Musicals, orchestra, photography class, and the awesome relationships with friends and teachers.

Food: The food overall is pretty good. I usually visit the salad bar or the deli to make a sandwich. There are a lot of options so anyone with allergies is likely to be accommodated.

Administration & Policies: I will always respect and follow the guidelines laid out for me, however there are some things I don't understand. For example, dress code. All of our shirts must have atleast a two inch solid sleeve. And all shorts must come to the knee. I have an outfit that includes a tank top and shorts that come to the middle of my thigh that are considered appropriate in church. So I'm not sure why it can't be the same way. Surprisingly, bullying isn't really an issue in our school. People just stick with their own friends and mind their own business. You never really see someone picking on someone else. However, there is cyberbulling. I love my guidance counselors and principal. They are all so involved and cate about every student. For example, my principal sent myself and three others to represent our school at a leadership conference so that we could be our very best.

Sports & Fitness: Our school spirit wise is just like any other high school. We love our teams and we stick together. There's tailgating before football games and we have costume themes at football and basketball games. They're awesome memories in the making. When it comes to the facilities, our school is up to par. I don't know too much about other schools, but our stadium is pretty amazing. The only downside when it comes to sports and fitness are gym classes. There is little variety and engagement.

Teachers: In our school district we have had a few teachers who simply were not qualified. However I have had some of the most amazing and inspiring people be my teachers. For example, my photography teacher genuinely cares about each of his students. He is dedicated to academics, but what matters most to him is the success of thr students. Also, my music teacher has never failed to help me with anything I might need. He has pushed me past what I thought I could do and when there is tension in the air, he never fails to relieve it with some humor. These are just two of the amazing teachers I have had. All excel in communication, grading, and consistency. But most importantly, they have dedicated their lives to making sure each one of their students is successful.
