Health & Safety: There isn't really any red flags here besides that anyone could come in and act like a student. I guess the worst thing is that we have occasional bomb threats, but no one has ever actually done anything. They are more like people writing dumb threats on bathroom walls.

Extracurriculars: There are not enough variety of extracurriculars, and they do not get the funding they need to be successful. Students have a general "I don't feel like staying after school" attitude about clubs and don't generally show much support for the activity unless it is sports.

Overall Experience: I wouldn't choose to go here again because the school doesn't give a well rounded education to their students. The science and math programs are not well funded or supported. The administrators are too focused on the ridiculous dress code and they enforce it inconsistently. The sports and arts programs were really the only ones that the community and school seemed to care about. There were MANY discipline issues which consistently got in the way of learning and class engagement.

Teachers: Some of the teachers are truly wonderful people who care about their students and want them to do well. A larger portion of the teachers don't care about what they are teaching in their classrooms and their lessons are half-hearted and not engaging. Technology was present in most classrooms, but most teachers didn't use it to its full ability. Teachers were difficult to see outside of class because there was really never time to go see them besides the really short lunch period; meaning you had to choose to either eat, or meet with your teacher.

Health & Safety: It's not Sun Valley but a lot of people drink or smoke weed. And we've had multiple bomb threats (nothing's ever happened, just kids messing around on social media).
