Ravenwood High School Reviews
Rating 4.04 out of 5 531 reviews
Over the course of the four years that I attended Ravenwood High School, it transformed as a person. It fed my soul and interests, it kept me entertained, but it also let me down. To begin with the worst, there was such little pride in being a Ravenwood Raptor. Although we had outstanding attendance for our Friday night football games, as the season went on, the student body cared less. Not to mention that we have an impressive choir, band, orchestra, and theatre department. No one really cares about that. The thing I am proudest of is our academics. We excel in the pressure to have all As and be the best academically. We have a strong STEM program. I love to watch every year to see where all the seniors go to college, because they always go to such smart schools. To fix the things I do not like, I would harp less on the academics, because it is already so engrained in our DNA. Instead, I would offer up more attention to our arts department and allow students to be more apart of it.
I went to Ravenwood High School my freshman and sophomore year and loved it! They have so many great opportunities for students.
I like my school for several reasons. Firstly, the supportive and dedicated teachers make learning engaging and enjoyable. They go the extra mile to ensure students understand the material. Secondly, the variety of extracurricular activities offered allows me to explore my interests beyond the classroom. Whether it's sports, clubs, or the arts, there's always something to participate in. Additionally, the inclusive and diverse environment fosters a sense of belonging. I appreciate the cultural exchange and the opportunity to learn from peers of different backgrounds. The school's commitment to technology and modern teaching methods also ensures we're prepared for the future. Overall, my school provides an enriching and nurturing environment that promotes both academic and personal growth, making it a place I genuinely enjoy being a part of.
