Health & Safety: There's not a time where I have ever felt unsafe at this school. Bullying is somewhat a problem but never goes unnoticed, and there are strict consequences. If a student is ever in need of someone to talk to about their problems they can go to a P.A.L (peer assistant listener) and no one would judge them. This school wants everybody to be safe for who they are.

Teachers: Each and every teacher is different. Most of the teachers I have had made whatever the subject was more engaging. For example my Chemistry and Physics teacher made me want to learn more with all the hands on experiments we did in class. Although math is not my strongest suit, my teacher went the extra mile to help me after class so I could even pass the class. I was able to communicate with him just fine and really learned more with the one-on-one. Overall, the quality of the teachers at my school are amazing and very helpful.

Extracurriculars: At SDA we have a wide variety of clubs and organizations students can participate in. We have many art clubs, eco clubs, and community help clubs. Some of our more unique clubs are our gay straight alliance club and our Japanese club. One of our more well known clubs is our Encinitas Rotary club that has a lot of administrative support and helps our community.

With a wide range of exciting academic and elective classes SDA has many different options. As well all the teachers and staff at SDAe sda a welcoming place some people may even call a home. Sda brings all students from every group together and creates a homely place. If I could do it all over again I would most definitely do it at SDA.

Teachers: Teachers at San Diegutio genuinely care and respect their students. They help kids with problems outside of school and support their students with problems they face. Inside the classroom SDA teachers and staff put 100% effort into making learning as easy and as fun as possible. Teachers at SDA not only care about getting good grades for their students, but for helping them feel safe and happy in their school atmosphere.
