Santa Fe High School Reviews

Overall, I think the school is good. I feel very safe having the metal detectors and officers there. The learning system could use improvement. I feel we could have done more. They also need more teachers. There were many days where i would sit in a cafeteria because we wouldn't have enough teachers. It felt like a waste of my time to go there for nothing but be on my phone. I was thankful to have joined the colligate program for a local college and would only go up to the high school campus for 1 period a day. The downside of this was communication. The counselors wouldn't meet with me or principals if I needed anything. I would book appointments and call but wouldn't get information back for weeks or even months. As a senior, I wanted to be informed of things, yet I was always the last to know about events. I wish we could have got to have more events such as pep rallies which for some reason they cut short for my senior year.
Overall, my experience at Santa Fe High School is positive. Most of my problems stem from the students themselves, they tend to be immature and destructive, even for high school students.
Santa Fe is a good school for when your younger, but once you hit high school the academics are not the best.
