Extracurriculars: There are only a few extracurriculars that aren't sports. Drama and Speech/Debate are the most popular beside sports.

Overall Experience: Shelley is a very clique centered school, not many different kinds of kids interact with one another. And the sports team coaches definelty play favorites. But overall my experience at Shelley wasn't all bad, but I am not sure I would ever want to go back and do it again.

Teachers: Most of the teachers at Shelley highschool really care about the students and how they are doing, especially in their classes. There are some teachers that just couldn't really care less though.

Health & Safety: I feel safe in this area. There is hardly any crime, and the people are generally good people. I don't fear coming to school. I have great friends who would have my back if anything were to happen. Plus an added bonus to the safety of the school is the fact that we have the fire station just across the street from the school. Sadly, we don't have a school nurse or assistant because they're busy.

Extracurriculars: With the size of the school, I feel like we have pretty good extracurricular activity choices. There are many different sports, such as football, cross country, soccer, track, baseball, etc. I think sports probably has the strongest level of commitment because of our competitiveness. We have a few service groups like National Honors Society and Key Club. They don't have very large budgets but there are many students who participate. The school's theatrical performances are very well done for the size that it is. The music and arts program don't get recognized enough at this school, unfortunately.
