Overall Experience: There are a lot of opportunities and clubs for you to get involved in. You just have to put yourself out there. I enjoy making a difference at South.

Overall Experience: I love everything about South Mecklenburg High School. Even though its the largest and most diverse school in the state of North Carolina, you really get this feeling of community. Not to mention that every teacher I have had really cares about you as an individual not just as another student they have to teach for a semester or so. I also love the amount of support and school spirit each individual has towards each other. Unlike most schools our principal and administration really get involved into the sports and activities and try to get to know everyone, even if they aren't students who need disciplinary actions. Honestly there is nothing for me to not like about my school and I have thought about every perspective. Yes we are a diverse group but each diversity is willing to open up or let people join certain groups or clubs. For instance, I am a white american girl and I was able to join a Latin dance club that was mainly for Latino culture and groups and they were so open and nice to me and everyone. This school is the only school that is perfect for me in every way, shape and form. Lastly, South Meck is super fun because we have pep rallies and we had a movie filmed at our school and we have an annual performance from the high-school nation tour, which are up and coming artists like Drake Bell and Trevor Jackson. I am going to finish by reiterating what i said which is that i love south meck high-school its perfect in every way.

Overall Experience: South Meck has character, diversity, but lacks funds. Some of the teachers shouldn't be teaching, but most of them are highly qualified and make your semester with them worthwhile. It offers a variety of classes, but most are severely under-funded and need money to meet their full potential.

Overall Experience: It was a great school if you tried your hardest. Many kids took a lot of AP classes and joined all clubs. But only they were the main focus.
