South River provides an intellectually stimulating environment through friendly competition and Socratic-style learning; however, its quality as institution of learning is diminished by its lack of diversity.

The experience I had was really great as my teachers supported me in all the Choices I made In my classes. I loved how my nursing teacher pushed me to who I am today and the path I am going.

Of all the public schools in the county I feel like ours has some of the most well-rounded students. We have a lot of really smart people who are also really athletic and do things for the community. There aren't a lot of cliques and it's pretty easy to make friends, most people are very nice. I wouldn't want to go to any other high school.
