As a senior, I think it's nearly impossible to go through State High and not have a favorite teacher. Much like students, every teacher has their own style which adds to the diversity among the student and staff population. There's a variety of flipped classrooms, hands-on activities, computer work, and real life learning going on in the classrooms and, on occasion, outside. However, there is a possibility of encountering a teacher that doesn't connect with the students. They don't interact, they don't put effort into expanding the student's education. These kind of teachers are rare, but still possible to come by at State High.

State High as a wide variety of courses offered. Sometimes it can be hard to fit all of the ones you want into your schedule, that would be my only complaint. However, they offer everything from Auto-shop, to pottery, to band, to early childhood education, to Calculus AB!

Most of the teachers are wonderful, and are there because they really care about the students.

There are many wonderful teachers at state high! I had a great experience with most of them. Of course there are always a few that you never like/can bond with, however the majority of the teachers whom I had were sincere and cared about the students!
