Health & Safety: I have never felt unsafe at State High. There are security guards walking around that keep everyone safe. The doors lock between classes and visitors are escorted to their destination after they sign in in the main office. All students have ID's that we use to swipe in in the morning to verify our attendance. The teachers all have ID's as well, which grants them access to the doors. Also, teachers have whistles attached to their lanyards in case of an emergency.

Overall Experience: I do complain about school often, but it's only because I am a senior and I am excited to move on with my life after high school. My four years at State High have been great. I have only had a handful of bad experiences. Almost all of my teachers have had a positive impact on my life and learning career. My favorite memories from State High are competing in DECA competitions with my friends. I also love going to the sporting events and supporting my friends on the field. If I had to choose whether or not I would go to State High again, I would decide that yes, I would. I have had so many positive experiences that have helped to shape me into the young woman that I am today. I have learned so much from my teachers and classmates. The overall environment of State High is great. I enjoy attending school there and I don't think many students would disagree with me.

Teachers: I have teachers who go above and beyond when teaching. They make sure to teach the material in a way that every student in the class will understand. On the other hand, I have some teachers who don't make near as great of an attempt. These teachers act like they are too smart for us students. When I ask questions, they make me feel dumb and I often regret asking for help, so I don't ask my questions. In turn, I don't perform well in those particular classes with those particular teachers.
