Overall Experience: Sunset is an average high school. You can find some of the best people you will ever meet and some of the worst. The students are all in cliques and it is hard if you aren't in one. Some of the teachers are amazing and I would highly recommend taking at least one IB class. They are a great way to push yourself academically.

Overall Experience: The school has a lot of pride. Pretty much everybody at Friday football games will dress up for the theme, no matter how crazy it is. There are also a lot of class options with differing levels of difficulty. There are always classes students can be successful in. However, the class sizes can be quite large due to budget cuts which makes it difficult to find time one on one with teachers. Also, like any school, there are always people who aren't very motivated to do well, which I personally don't like. Overall though, I really enjoy my school.

Overall Experience: This school is your basic white suburban place of education. Can't say I felt that i fit in completely. There were many cliques, a common place in high schools. But there is a certain sense of separation when you are one of only a handful of African American students.Where, if there were three black people in a classroom that was considered a lot. As a young girl I felt the need to relax my hair to feel assimilated. I could never really relate to anyone on a cultural level that I was once able to growing up in New York. I have nothing against this school. But if I could to back I would asked to stay in New York and finish my education there.
