Extracurriculars: Any student who wished to become involved in any type of activity, be it Athletics, knitting, philoshophical debate, community service, or even reading graphic novels , there is club or afterschool activity which they may join. And if a club does not currently exist the students have a forum in which they have the ability to create the types of clubs they desire.

Teachers: I am giving this a great because when your student receives a terrific instructor they are absolutely wonderful and very dedicated to the well being of the student. This balances the instructors who fall short of this and teach to the textbook verses the passion of the subject, or the inquiry of a learning mind.

Health & Safety: For as large and as demographically diverse as Sunset is, the school is very safe. There have nver been any major issues.

Overall Experience: This school is excellent if your student is willing to work independantly and take additional classes outside of the HS. The IB program is fast paced and if you do not have additional coursework outside of school, it will be a struggle to maintain. The instructors expect the students to have this material already learned.

Extracurriculars: One thing that I have to admit at this school is that there are many active student clubs and assemblies that really bring the school together.
