Thompson High School has been my home for the last 4 years. As I walked in on my first day of school, the teachers were welcoming and full of joy as they began to teach their passion. The administration does a great job with helping students and teachers pursue their goals and needs. The hallways are full of kids going to and from class and being able to surround myself with different personality types and different social views, has made me mature and grow as an individual. I feel prepared to leave and go out in the world, because of my teachers and parents guidance. I believe that high school is about learning to develope and find your identity in this world before you go off on your own to college. Thompson has succeeded that goal of mine and there is no place I'd rather have spent the last 4 years at.

During my time at this school, I have had both good and bad teachers. The good ones were amazing. I just finished my senior year and my English teacher was one of the sweetest teachers I have ever had. She was completely invested in her students' education and well-being. Most of my teachers were consistent with grading and communicating with their students. Two of my teachers, who taught math and physics, were incredibly knowledgeable in their field and were terrific at extending that knowledge. I always enjoyed their classes and always felt that I really learned something valuable each day. I would conclude that most of the teachers at this school are wonderful

Most teachers that I have had at Thompson High school have been great teachers. The science teachers especially have always been well organized and on top of things. They always impress me with their amount of knowledge, like they could answer any question I had. The math teachers always had ways to make any problem easier to understand and put it in real-world context. The English teachers usually planned projects that appealed to their students, rather than dumping loads of boring work on them. History has always been my weak subject, so needless to say i cant brag on them as much. But they have always been kind and easy to talk to.
