Overall Experience: This school is one of the largest in the nation and is full of people from different countries. I just believe that no other school could offer a student the experience you gain everyday from being in an environmental filled with hundreds of different cultures around you.

Food: I do not go to lunch since I take so many classes. Instead, I eat during my choir class which is perfectly fine with me. In response to this, I honestly don't know what the options are for lunch since I have always brought my lunch.

Administration & Policies: This is one topic I don't know a lot about. What I do know is that discipline is heavily enforced at my school. In the beginning of the school, expectations are given out for how you should act and dress for school. In addition, a list of punishments are given out so each crime has a suitable consequence that everyone is aware of.

Sports & Fitness: School spirit is something that Upper Darby is certainly not lacking and even though some of our equipment is not as new as some other schools, we are able to make do with what we have. Our faulty created the "varsity club" in the efforts to boost student attendance to sporting events and in return, it has payed off nicely. For example, at the senior night of our school's wrestling team last month, the gym was packed with adoring fans cheering on our players. Our extra encouraged must have helped since the team was able to take home the central league championship!

Teachers: Since Upper Darby is such a huge school, it requires an enormous amount of teachers and administrators to keep it running properly. Despite teachers having so many students to attend to, most of the teachers are still able to offer personal help to struggling students, and be easy to relate to. Upper Darby teachers can easily be described in one word; passionate. I cannot think of many other schools that have teachers with the devotion to their student's in the way that this school does. Most of our educators take great pride in their work and in turn, they receive a thirst for knowledge from their students.
