    Health & Safety: Especially at the beginning of the school year, students are properly informed by staff of the regulations for the year.

    Extracurriculars: Washburn offers just about every sport there is and has amazing faculty to coach and help students grow. There are several other organizations to get involved in for those who don't participate in athletics.

    Overall Experience: I have learned more than I ever imagined was possible over my years at Washburn. The curriculum has been pretty intense, which pays off in the end.

    Teachers: The teachers are what make me want to get up and go to school in the morning. How much they care about the students is easily seen.

    Overall Experience: If I had to do it all over again, I would definitely choose to go to high school at Washburn Rural. This school offers a wide variety of classes as well as extracurricular activities to get involved in. Being involved in multiple athletics and clubs at this school, I kept very busy and enjoyed my high school experience.
