Overall my experience at Wingate has been great. The teachers have helped me so much and always believed in me even when I was struggling. The people on campus are very friendly and we are all like a family.

My first day of 9th grade I was so nervous and scared because mostly I knew there were going to be kids around me that were a lot older than me. However I warmed up and really started to enjoy my time at west. I want to be an athletic training so I was always involved sports whether I was playing softball ,managing the varsity basketball teams or assisting the athletic trainer on the sidelines at football practice and games. I believe the diversity and the kindness that everyone has at West Forsyth is what makes it unique, there are over 2,000 kids that go there but everyone interacts with one another. If I could start over I would most definitely chose to go to West no matter the bad times I've had. Knowing about how things go at a lot of other schools in my district I would never put my own child in any of them besides west. I've made the best memories, friends, and accomplishments at this shook and I wouldn't trade them for the world.

My daughter has grown up the last 4 years in West Forsyth High School. I do not think any other high school would have done this for her. She was very active in after school activities. She love being on the dance team to cheer on the football and basketball teams. She was in the Girls Service Club along with the National Honors Dance Society. In our opinion, West is Best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
