Overall Experience: Whitney Young is often ranked among the best high schools in the nation, and is known for creating lifelong relationships, caring teachers, a respectable administration, and involved parents who truly care for their children's education. There are endless ways to get involved with 30 Varsity Sports Teams, countless clubs, and performing arts offered both as classes and extracurricular's. The School offers 40 advanced placement courses and multiple honors all in the background of one of the nations most diverse High Schools with minority enrollment topping 70 Percent and College acceptance rates of nearly 100 Percent. I would not trade Whitney Young for any High School in the world and being here is an honor in of itself.

Overall Experience: Having a school where people actually care about not only your education (which is a BIG deal), but also the amount of fun you have in your high school career and living in your high school experience.

Overall Experience: At Whitney Young I've learned through everything I've experienced. From my friends and class mates I've learned social skills and negotiating skills that will hopefully help me when I talk to people in the future. I've also gotten a wide view on many different lifestyles seeing as the culture of the school is so diverse. Some of my closest friends are from completely different walks of life and being able to step into their way of living and view things through another lens is incredibly eye opening. I see things that I want to incorporate into my life or that I know I should stay away from.

The teachers are mostly amazing. They care about your grade push you until you feel like you're tipping over a ledge. Luckily they strapped a parachute to your back without you noticing m so if you do fall you're prepared for the journey down. My teachers are my best friends, they're family really. They take the time to listen and help me when I need it. They sometimes can even tell when I'm off without me saying anything and they'll help me through whatever it is. Honestly it's just a great school.

Overall Experience: I love attending Whitney Young High School. There are over hundred clubs and our sports teams are the best in the city. The truth is, we excel at everything and there is a place for everyone in this school. The school is so welcoming, it's nothing like the way high school is portrayed on television. We have no social hierarchy, everyone is not only accepted but also appreciated.
